Fall in Love with Cleveland

I don't know if I can really stress how awesome it is to have a bloggy friend in real life. My real-life blog friend is Lisa who blogs over at Ameliorer la Vie. She is wonderful! I can talk to her about all kinds of blog related topics that people who don't blog do not understand. She is always on top of the latest blogging trends, link-ups, blog hops, giveaways, sponsorships, you name it, she usually knows about it and is kind enough to pass it along.

Lisa is back in my hometown and I am, currently, in Cleveland attending college. Last week, Lisa had a rare Sunday off and came to visit me. We were lucky enough to catch a break in the rainy weather and enjoy a beautiful fall day together. For lunch, we headed to a quaint cultural spot in Cleveland, Little Italy. I knew she would love it because Lisa lived in Italy for some time as a nanny. Over at Presti's bakery, we enjoyed stromboli, soup (not Italian, but it was delicious), gelato, cannolis, and raspberry almond thumbprint cookies.

After lunch, we headed to University Circle to The Botanical Gardens. It was too fun. The gardens inside and outside were beautiful. There were birds, butterflies, tortoises, etc.  My favorite part was outside where we could enjoy all of the changing colors of autumn: the reds, oranges, and yellows. We had a great time talking about life, soaking up the sunshine and enjoying a few of Cleveland's gems.

What do you like to do in the Fall?
