Weekly Wishes

Hello, lovelies! I hope you are having a wonderful labor day weekend. I know, for me, this 3-day weekend could not come soon enough. If the three day weekend isn't enough motivation for you to have an incredible week, link up with Melyssa for Weekly Wishes to inspire and uplift your week.

Blog & Manage Time. I was able to blog once (for weekly wishes, of course); which I guess is better than not at all. I will continue working on time management this week as my schedule becomes a little more concrete. Hopefully, I can at least get two posts written and on the blog this week!

Be positive. The past two weeks have been very stressful. I moved into house with strangers, had an immersion class, papers, readings, group presentation, etc. It was tough on me and clouded my ability to think positively. So here's to looking on the bright side this week!

Take a deep breathe. Yes, I have acquired the nickname Frazzled Fraley. In a stressful situation, I go into panic mode. I never really realized this, but lately I have noticed. This is my weakness. I know this weakness will not serve me well, especially in the Public Relations field. I want to work on it by learning how to take a deep breathe and figure out how I can better handle stressful situations. Any suggestions on dealing with a stressful situation that seems to be pulling you in many directions?

  1. Hi Courntney! I found your blog through the Weekly Wishes link-up {it definitely is the little bit of motivation I need to start my week!}. First off, love your post's title photo - beautiful!

And second, if you're feeling frazzled, you're not going to be able to take on a situation to the best of your ability. I think the trick is just finding the little ways to recharge, like going for a walk or run, getting some sunshine, or spending a few minutes to lay things out and get organized before you start again. Once you find out what does it for you, you'll be awesome!

And you're into PR? So you're already awesome! :D Have a great day and a great week!

  3. Another great post, even if you have cut down.
September is always a stressful month, especially for those who are starting at University etc.
I'm well known at work for getting in a panic and when others get stressed around me I just say one word.. Breathe.
At the end of the day we are all human and its normal to struggle. By breathing it helps to calm you and just take a moment. Well it works for me and my colleagues aha!
We all need time to ourselves to relax and take a moment.
Not much help, but hope it helps in the slightest.
Keep up the good work Courtney. :) x

  4. I'm so easily frustrated; especially when I feel rushed. The best way for me to deal is to work at being one step ahead. Get to appointments early; read and re-read requirements; cut out excess white noise (you know---those stupid thoughts that you can't handle a situation). When I feel prepped, ready, and confident---stress and frustration is easily defeated.

Sprinkling a little positive pixie dust on your wishes doll!

  5. You can only expect this much when dealing a situation, and you only expect 1% of the unexepected. Go with your heart if you have to make a decision there and then. If it turns out a bad judgement, it's an experience learned. Good luck!
